Bert Schmelzer
Bert, who grew up in a family of glider pilots, discovered his passion for flying and the adventure of the sport at an early age. With a gold medal at the 2014 World Championships, he underlines his motto: "never stop exploring."
I am delighted that we are able to revise and expand this unique book by Bert. I saw the first edition of the book and it immediately became my first coffee table book ever. Overall, I got to know the "Schmelzer family" as "extremely passionate about aviation with a heart".
