Chrigel Maurer – the high-flyer | Reto Koller

As a paraglider pilot, Chrigel Maurer has been able to achieve almost all of his competition goals. The now 40-year-old pilot turned his hobby into a career in 2003 when he dared to make the step from the construction site to paraglider development. Since 2009, Maurer has competed in – and dominated! – the Red Bull X-Alps adventure race every two years with a team. In 2012, he became a full-time paraglider athlete. The step into self-employment was the result of great demand for further training and personal training for pilots and lectures outside the aviation scene. This book explains how Maurer continues to develop at the highest level and pursues his goals, gains experience and passes this on to the next generation.
